I have been fishing in Bass Tournaments for 10 years and the Piratecom intercom and headsets have allowed me to increase my tournament fishing time by up to 47 minutes per tournament. The system works flawlessly and is very rugged. Many co-anglers have said they have never seen anyone harder on equipment than me. I can't seem to break the Piratecom equipment. In only a few months I have found that it saves me time during tournaments by communicating with my partners on strategies, rigging and locations while traveling at high speeds. This has effectively given me more time with my bait in the water and thus more fish in the well. If you fish buddy tournaments and don't have a Piratecom system, you are at a distinct disadvantage!
VHF clarity is almost startling and I never appreciated how much yelling we had to before. For the first time we were actually able to hear the soundtrack for the 45 minute run out to the North Moreton Trench.

impossible to hear any of the radios or talk to my crew. Now with the Piratecom system I can actually hear the radios clearly and easily talk with my crew. Our towing operations are much safer now that we can easily speak to each other and I no longer miss radio calls on our VHF.
The Piratecom communication system has made my vessel operations safer and more certain. Never missing a radio call because of wind and engine noise is a thing of the past. I am able to communicate with crew clearly while underway and being able to listen to my satellite stereo makes long runs more pleasant. Few pieces of equipment have made such a positive difference in my assist towing operations.
can hear my stereo, I can talk to my passengers and I can talk on the cellphone all while running along at 30 knots. It makes running much more relaxing. I absolutely love it.
My husband and I enjoy using a 24 foot center console with our two children (one is 3 and the other is 5 years old). The kids love to ride on the cushions at the bow of the boat while we head out to our favorite sandbar. Prior to Piratecom’s headsets, it was impossible for my husband and I to talk to each other because I had to sit at the bow (with the kids) while my husband drove. With the headsets, I am able to have a full conversation with my husband while I am sitting at the bow and he is driving! The hearing protection it provides for all of us, especially the kids, is outstanding. We really enjoy this product and can’t imagine why it took so long for someone to invent it.
actually hear radio calls over the VHF while I am on plane in my boat! The headsets make my 35 minute trip to my favorite fishing grounds very enjoyable and as quiet as sitting in my living room! Excellent product!
the cell phone ability to stay in touch with my business while I am actually traveling at 30 MPH to my fishing spots. The intercom allows me to talk with friends and passengers as easily and quietly as if we were sitting in my car. I am so pleased someone finally found a way to eliminate the wind noise on my ears which often left my ears ringing well into the night.
narrow channels on plane in order to get to the ocean. In the past I had to yell to him while I was helping spot channel markers. Now I can help him without yelling! What a great intercom system! We now actually talk in a normal voice while we head out to sea! Also, thank you for eliminating the pounding wind noise on my ears! |
